There's a first time for everything

It's a well-used saying: "there's a first time for everything". Very true, of course...
But honestly, when was the first time you unintendedly set a hard disk on fire?
For me, a few days ago. I tried connecting a second HD to my new (second hand) PC, and it died because of some kind of short circuit. So I took an old HD and connected it: upon startup it CAUGHT FIRE. Seriously. Later I figured that the power supply probably delivered insufficient wattage. Luckily, I had a back-up of all my stuff.
